Dr. Aaron Elkin, Past-president

Aaron Elkin, M.D. was sworn into office on October 23, 2010 as President of the Broward County Medical Association by the President of the American Medical Association, Cecil Wilson, M.D.

Dr. Elkin was born in Miami, Florida and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami

School of Medicine.

In 1995, Dr. Elkin established his private practice in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Hollywood, Florida. Dr. Elkin has been engaged in the efforts to provide quality medical care to his patients and continues to address his concerns with CMS on the Medicaid Reform pilot project. Under his leadership, the Medical Association’s Board of Directors has opposed the extension of this program throughout the State of Florida.
